Privacy Policy

The free check runs entirely inside your browser: page counts, garbled-text detection and the number of convertible figures are all worked out locally, and the PDF itself is not sent anywhere.
1. What we collect
- Email address — at purchase, and when you create an account.
- Payment details — collected by Stripe. We never hold card numbers.
- Your PDF — only after purchase, for the conversion itself.
- The conversion result.
- Access logs — IP address, browser information and similar.
2. Why we use it
To perform the conversion, deliver and re-deliver the result, take payment and issue receipts, and prevent abuse. We do not use your documents or their conversion results to train machine-learning models.
3. Retention and deletion
- Original PDFs are deleted within 24 hours of the conversion finishing.
- Conversion results are kept if you have an account, and deleted after 24 hours if you do not.
- Purchase records and receipts are kept for the period the law requires.
- Deletion covers the original, intermediate files, temporary storage and backups.
4. Who else processes your data
We use Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) to serve the site and store data; Stripe, Inc. (United States) for payment; Resend / Plus Five Five, Inc. (United States) to send notification emails; and RunPod, Inc. for the GPU environment that performs the conversion. Your PDF itself goes only to Cloudflare and RunPod — never to Stripe or Resend, which receive only your email address and the link to collect your result.
4-1. Where conversion is carried out
Conversion runs on GPU capacity provided by RunPod, Inc., a company headquartered in the United States. It operates data centres in several countries and capacity is assigned dynamically, so we cannot tell you in advance which country will process your document. We restrict what we hand over to what the conversion needs, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and delete the original PDF within 24 hours of the conversion finishing. Your PDF itself goes to no other processor — neither our payment provider nor our email provider receives it.
5. Your rights
You may ask us for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal data, and where applicable for its portability or to object to processing. Write to info@pdfintact.com or use the contact form and we will respond without undue delay.
6. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are used only to keep you signed in. That same sign-in identifier may also be reused — without creating any new cookie — to keep the same visitor consistently assigned to one version of a page in an occasional A/B test, and for aggregate, server-side measurement of how pages perform. We do not use cookies or this identifier for advertising, for tracking you across other sites, for hashing your IP address, or for device fingerprinting, and we do not run any third-party analytics or tracking script — nothing beyond the cookie that keeps you signed in reads or writes anything in your browser for tracking purposes. Internally, our servers keep an aggregate count of a few key events (such as a conversion finishing, or which version of a page was shown) to understand how the service is used. That record is generated entirely on the server, creates no new cookie, and does not identify you personally — it stores at most an internal account or session identifier already used to run the service, never your name, your document, or its contents.
